Jesus feeds a multitude of four thousand with seven loaves and a few small fishes, leaving seven baskets of leftovers. He warns his disciples against the “leaven of the Pharisees and of Herod,” prompting them to worry about their lack of bread. Jesus then heals a blind man in Bethsaida and asks his disciples about his identity, to which Peter confesses him as the Christ.
